Think Impact now offers SDG Impact Standards training courses to help you fully integrate the SDGs into your organisation.

About the SDG Impact Standards

The SDG Impact Standards were developed by the United Nations Development Programme SDG Impact team to support contribution towards the SDGs and sustainable development.

The SDG Impact Standards are best practice standards to assist investors and enterprises embed sustainability and the SDGs into their management systems and decision-making practices. They are not reporting standards. They focus on supporting more informed and accountable internal decision making and choices in line with achieving the SDGs and other sustainable development outcomes.

About the training

To facilitate the widespread adoption of the Impact Standards, the UNDP partnered with Social Value International (SVI) to train individuals around the world to become Accredited Trainers for the SDG Impact Standards. Think Impact is one of the only organisations in Australia currently accredited to deliver training on how to implement the SDG Impact Standards. Our experience in strategy and impact measurement allows us to also assist organisations to effectively adopt the Standards.

Our SDG Impact Standards training courses will help you fully integrate the SDGs into all business and investment decision-making processes and meaningfully contribute to sustainable development. They provide the skills and knowledge to effectively embed sustainability and managing for social and environmental impacts at the core of an organisations' internal decision-making practices.

Training packages include 1–1.5-hour sessions for senior leaders and governance bodies and 3-day sessions suitable for practitioners implementing the Standards.

The training is now available for in-house delivery to build capacity across an organisation’s entire team. Public training sessions that individuals can register for will be advertised later in 2023.
